We are BLESSING THE BACKPACKS and teachers Sunday, August 12 in all 3 services. All students, no matter the age, are encouraged to bring their backpacks & tote bags on this special Sunday. What a great way to start a new school year!

Uncle Sam himself will be rewarding our most patriotically dressed attendee complete with a big All American Prize! Judging begins at 5:45PM. See you there with your stars & stripes on!
Time to dig out that really, really, REALLY good home made (meaning top & bottom crust & filling cannot be store bought) apple pie recipe because we are having an old fashioned Apple Pie Bake Off on Wed, July 11 before the Community Dinner & Council Meeting. Have your pies here at the church by 5:00PM Wed, July 11. First, Second and Third Place ribbons & prizes will be awarded. Annnnnnd BAKE!
We are gearing up for another Summer Community Dinner & Church Council BLOW OUT!
On Wednesday, July 11 we are going to enjoy grilled hamburgers & hotdogs and all the fixin's.
Please bring a dessert to share if you are able.
ALSO we will have a prize for the person most patriotically dressed!
AND there will be an All American Apple Pie Contest with prizes awarded to THE best HOME MADE apple pies right here at FUMC!
(Homemade means the bottom & top crust and filling cannot be store bought.)
Pies need to be brought to the church before 5:00PM. May the best apple pie win!
The Wesley Boys will be entertaining us this evening.
Youth will meet at the usual time.
Children ages 4 years & up will be having old fashioned games and water fun out on the lawn. Please make sure that they bring towels.
Nursery will receive children beginning at 6:15PM, ages 6 weeks- 3 years old.
Festivities will begin at 5:00PM in The Crossroads Center, with dinner being served at 5:30PM.
There are no activities scheduled and the church office will be closed for this Wednesday, July 4.

We will have one exciting VBS Celebration service planned for Sunday, July 1 at 10:30AM in The Crossroads Center! No other services are planned for this Sunday.
Sunday School is scheduled from 9:15-10:15. Childcare will not be provide for Sunday School.
Our Kid's Street nursery will receive children at 10:00AM from ages 6 weeks - age 3.
