Our FUMC Benevolence Pantry has been selected by Beltone to be the recipients of this year’s food drive! If we help them donate enough food to win the Beltone’s Southeast District’s food donation contest they will be able to fit a child from our community with state of the art hearing aids!

You can drop off donations to the Beltone office next to Panera’s in Redstone Plaza Mon-Fri from 8:30AM-4:30PM.

Thank you Beltone, for choosing our FUMC Benevolence Pantry- we’re so excited!

The Crossroads Center will be open at 4:30PM for everyone to help us fill our timeline and to peruse the relics & photos that we’ve dug up from the archives. We’ll have a special guest, Dave Barkalow who will walk all of us through building a timeline of our church’s history. We will eat together, remember together, and figure out together what our stories mean for the future of our church. This special event calls for a special meeting time. We will start serving food at 5:00, Dave will start leading us at 6PM, and then we will have a brief Church Council meeting from 7:30-8PM. We’d love to see you there, because YOU are part of OUR story.

Congregational Care Best.jpg

All church members interested in learning more about the Congregational Care Team's ministry are invited to attend our fall meeting.  Current members will share experiences and goals for the team on Friday, September 7, 11:00 a.m. at Desi's on Main Street.  We will meet in the room straight across from the entrance in the glassed-in area.   The buffet is $12 including tax and tip.

The Congregational Care Team serves our members (upon the request of the pastor) who are ill,  recovering from surgery or other short term medical situations until they return to worship.

Please let the church office or Pam Callahan know if you plan to attend so she will know how many places to save since seating is on first come basis.  You may invite someone who may be interested in being involved in this ministry.
