CommUNITY Dinner & Church Council Meeting on Wed, Sept 14

It’s ‘Missions Night’ at our next CommUNITY Dinner on Wed, Sept 14! **Menu is spiral ham, homemade brown sugar raisin gravy & mashed potatoes, and green beans. Please bring a dessert if you are able.**
Our SOUP-er volunteers will be making & serving dinner. All proceeds from this evening will be benefit FUMC’s Soup Kitchen ministry. We’ll start serving at 5:30PM.
Also, peruse our Missions Fair to find out how FUMC is impacting our world and community for Christ and get plugged in!
The Yarn Ministry will be presenting the winner of the drawing with an afghan on this evening. Stop by and drop your name in the box!
Youth, Children & Chancel Choir groups will meet as usual.

Pajama Blessing on Sunday, July 31

FUMC Women’s Service Group is collecting donations of new pajamas, socks & undies, sizes infant to teen, for foster kids in the Families First Network. We will have a special prayer blessing at the 11:00AM service on July 31. Drop off bins are located in the CRC and Main Sanctuary lobby.
Blessing of the Backpacks on Sunday, August 7

Blessing of the backpacks will be held in all services on Sunday, August 7.
All students, no matter the age, and teachers are invited to bring their backpacks / totes to the service of their choice to be prayed over.
We will also pray and bless our new school year.

Fall Session Small Group Sign Up

Fall Session Small Groups will begin on August 17th and meet through November 16, 2022. Registration for the Fall Session will begin on July 13th 2022. We will have sign up sheets available at our Community Dinner. We would love to see you at the Book Fair to get your signed up and a chance to meet the group leaders. Time to get those pedal pushers out and dippity doo the hair because we are traveling back to the 1950's!
Diner food is on the menu -
hotdogs, hamburgers and all the fixin's.
We'll also be offering an ice cream float & sundae bar to belly up to, so no need to bring deserts!
Come early to enjoy the vintage cars and selfie opportunities and to peruse the new studies being offered in the Fall.
Dinner will be served beginning at 5:30PM.
Kid’s St & Youth activities will begin at 6:00PM.
Church Council begins at 6:30PM.
Please record your grace note with your intended attendance or call/email the church office.
A collection box will be in place to help offset the cost of the meal.
*Our United Methodist Men will be cooking & hosting this CommUNITY Dinner! They will be the recipients of all proceeds which will assist them in their many ministry projects here at FUMC and our Crestview Community!

Stained Glass Mugs
/Our ‘Through the Stained Glass’ mug series celebrates our Christian heritage as presented in our Christ Chapel and Main Sanctuary.
There are 6 mugs in this series, 3 depicting stained glass from Christ Chapel and 3 from the Main Sanctuary.
If you would like to purchase any of the Stained Glass Mugs, please email the mug # and how many of that mug you would like to purchase to fumcrestview@gmail.com. Please include your Name, phone number and mailing address for shipping.
Mugs are $20 each. Shipping cost will be $4 if you order one to three mugs and free if you order four or more.
Once you email your order, you will receive instructions on payment methods. Please allow 2 weeks for delivery after payment is made.
All proceeds go to Pastor Kris in Polland.
