Wednesday, November 30th at 5:30PM is our Christmas Celebration. We will be decorating our Christmas tree, celebrating, playing games, and most importantly: wrapping gifts and working on our Christmas project!! We need all the youth we can get for help!
8th Ave Men, formerly UMM, are back with their annual Christmas party!
*Date: December 12
*Time: 6:00PM until 7:30(ish) Doors open at 5:30PM
*Ticket Price: $12.50 each
*Tickets are on sale through Dec 4.
A UMM rep will be at all lobbies prior to Sunday worship services or pick up tickets at the church office during normal business hours.
*Meal: Turkey, Ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, vegetables and dessert
*Your evening will include: Music, good food, great friends, a year in review and awards. Come enjoy a great evening with your favorite men's group, 8th Ave. Methodist men!
*We are partnering with FUMC's Benevolence Ministry this evening by asking everyone to please bring a canned good or boxed meal to the dinner with your ticket.
*Nursery available for ages 6 mo - 5th grade.
Community Dinner|Nov 9
The 8th Ave Men (formally UMM) will be stirring up a spaghetti dinner complete with garlic bread & salad on Wed, Nov 9. A donation box will be set out to help cover the cost of the meal. All proceeds will go towards our Benevolence Ministry for the Christmas Angel Tree program.
Please bring a desert to share if you are able.
Plan on adopting a Christmas Angel and don't forget to bring an angel ornament (unbreakable) for the angel tree!
The CRC lobby will also hold our Winter Studies Book Fair, so come peruse our books and sign up for a study– we’re saving you a seat.
Youth, Kids St. and Chancel Choir will meet at usual.
Dinner will begin being served at 5:30PM,
the Church Council will begin at 6:30PM.
Office Closure|Nov 10
The church office will be closed in observance of Veterans Day.
Beginning Nov 13 through Dec 11 you can place an order by completing a poinsettia envelope order form to include your payment. Envelopes will be placed at the entrance to each service. You can also download an order form here and return it to the church office.
A special Christmas day bulletin insert will list all who purchased a poinsettia and who is being honored/remembered.
Poinsettias will be ready to pick up after the Christmas Day worship service, which will be held at 10:30AM in the Main Sanctuary on Dec 25.
Poinsettias will be $15 each and all proceeds will go to Pastor Kris in Poland to help with the completion of his new church.
Acolyte Training|Nov 13
Children 3-5th grade are invited to be acolytes for the 11:00 Traditions service. Training begins at Kids St on Sun, Nov 13 at 9:45AM.
Benevolence Angel Tree
We're asking everyone to please donate an angel ornament (unbreakable) to place on our Angel Tree in The Crossroad Center lobby through Epiphany Sunday.
What a wonderful way to greet all who enter The CRC,
with the good news of Jesus' birth!

This event will feature a daily story time for local schools and day-cares and small groups. There will be a coloring and craft table for the kids, apple cider, photo ops, and a Pin the Nose on the Pumpkin activity. Small carving and large pumpkins will be available as well as miniature pumpkins (while supplies last).
The fundraiser is open to the public, but reservations will be needed to accommodate your class, troop, or group for Story Time. Please contact Angela at 850-682-2018 to schedule a time for your group. Story time can be scheduled as early as 8:30 AM. All proceeds will go to the Children's Program to benefit their programing and Camp Tuition.
Yarnies will meet on Tuesdays, Oct 11 & 25 at 6:00PM in Rm 213. All interested in this fun ministry are welcome!
UNITED METHODIST MEN will meet on Mon, Oct 10 at 6:00PM in the Fellowship Hall. Our special guests will be FUMC Benevolence team members that will give an update on their ministry & our Christmas Angel Tree program for 2022. Join us for dinner, music, and a short business meeting.
All women are invited to join the FUMC Women's Service Group on Fri, Oct 7 at 10:00AM in Rm 212.
The annual Harvest Festival will be held October 26, 2022. The children will meet on Kid’s Street at 6:00PM for some Fall Fun outdoors and then participate in crafts, snacks, trick or treating around campus to the small groups, choir, and youth groups. Bring a treat bag and wear your costume to make it even more fun! All children are asked to dress in child friendly costumes or as their favorite book character.
FUMC is hosting an over-night youth lock-in on Fri, Sept 23 from 8:00PM to 8:00PM. The youth will spend this time in playing games and having fellowship with one another.
