Discovery Weekend: Friday, April 29 – Sunday, May 1

2022 is sure moving along quickly which means that our biggest annual event is fast approaching...our 6th Annual Discovery Weekend!!!

Discovery Weekend is a 42-hour (yes, a 2 night lock-in) spiritual formation retreat for rising 6th through 8th graders, hosted by 9th through 12th graders. The retreat is modeled after the Chrysalis and Emmaus retreats that many of you have experienced at Blue Lake Camp.

Every year we have the best one yet...and we need YOUR help to make sure our 6th annual event does not disappoint. There are several positions for adult volunteers...please contact Sara Fordyce or Paul Adams if you would like to help.

All rising 6th graders through 12th graders are invited! $50 Registration due by April 15.

Complete the registration form and return it with the $50 registration fee to Paul Adams at the church office.

 Palm Sunday - April 10
One combined service at 10:30AM in the Main Sanctuary. FB Livestreamed.
Adult Sunday school will meet from 9:30-10:30AM on this day only.
Kids’ Street open at 9:15AM, 6 wks-5th grade.
Kids Sunday School-9:30 to 10:15AM.
Kids will line up at 10:15AM in the Main Sanctuary for the procession of the Palms.
Children’s Church-10:45 to 11:30AM.
Lunch Served at 11:40AM in the Crossroads Center
Children’s Festival begins at noon with games, face painting,
bounce house & our annual Easter Egg Hunt (bring your basket)!

Order pick up dates(*)

Saturday April 16 from 11am-2pm in the Crossroads Center

Sunday April 17 between services in the Crossroads Center and after the 11:00 service

Helpful Hints

Cakes may be frozen for up to 6 months if not used right away; take them out of the freezer 3 days before use and store in the fridge til ready to eat - they will be just as fresh as the day you bought them!

Cookies may be frozen for up to 2 months and placed in the fridge for 2 days before use.

(*) If you are unable to pick up your cakes/cookies/cutlery during these scheduled days, feel free to have someone get them for you or call Kristen Sallberg (505-553-9498) or Margaret Larson (850-217-6960) for other arrangements.

Come have fun getting the campus gussied up for Easter! We will meet at 8:30AM in The Crossroads Center on Saturday, March 12. We will have work will be for all ages and abilities!Lunch will be served at 11:30 in the Youth Rm. Nursery available for children 6 weeks- 4 yrs old. Rain date is Saturday, April 2.

CommUNITY Dinner & Church Council on Wed, March 9

Our next Comm-UNITY Dinner will be held on Wed, March 9 in The Crossroads Center.
Dinner will be served beginning at 5:30PM.
The UMM will be cooking us breakfast for dinner!
All proceeds from tonight’s meal will go
towards our Christmas Decoration Fund.
Please bring a dessert to share if you are able.
Kid’s Street & Nursery will be 6:00PM on Kid's Street.
Church Council will begin at 6:30PM.
Our Spring Book Fair will be taking place this evening as well as the Women’s Service Group’s Dean’s Cakes / Rada Cutlery fundraiser.
