Friday, December 9
You’re invited to a FREE showing of The Polar Express!
On Friday, December 9th from 6-8:30PM we'll be enjoying a special FREE showing of The Polar Express with extra fun activities like Build-a-S'more, Popcorn Creation Station, Photo Booth, Craft Corner, and Sing-a-long Songs. Children are welcome to wear their PJ’s. Families are encouraged to bring their favorite blankets or chairs to curl up in during the movie.
Sunday, December 11
Community Acts of Kindness and Christmas Cantata
Join us at 8:30AM in Wesley Hall (Crossroads Center) for light refreshments, hot coffee and prayer before we fill our community to the brim with a whole lot of LOVE, KINDNESS & JESUS! We'll have lots of suggestions for Christmas Community Acts of Kindness that your family can complete as well as Kindness Cards with our church information and a place for you to pen a little note if you'd like. We'll wrap things up at 10:30 am, just in time for a special Combined Worship Service and Choir Cantata. **Keep in mind: if your particular Act of Kindness requires some preparation or supplies (such a baking cookies for First Responders or taking treats to those who are working on a Sunday), make sure to purchase or make your items ahead of our December 11th meeting time. If you would like suggestions ahead of time, please contact April Hight.**
We'll be gathering in the main sanctuary at 11:00AM in the main sanctuary as we enjoy the FUMC Chancel Choir's Cantata, "The Winter Rose".
*Nursery for ages 6mo to 3yrs will begin at 9:30AM this Sunday morning.
Christmas Eve, December 24
Children's Service, a special time for families to experience the Christmas story through a child's eyes complete with a child friendly & safe candlelight moment and a Happy Birthday Jesus Party! Begins at 4:00PM in The Crossroads Center.
Candlelight Service, with all of the familiar traditions of the season, begins at 6:30PM in our main sanctuary.
*No nursery for Christmas Eve. All ages welcome!
Christmas Day, December 25
Our Lessons & Carols Pajama Service begins at 10:30AM in the main sanctuary. Bring the whole family fresh from opening Christmas presents to FUMC for praise and worship! (Pajamas are optional, Christmas cheer is required!)
