On August 17, we launch Prayer School - a four week study and worship experience for adults who want to learn to pray with the scriptures throughout their lives
We'll begin with a fellowship meal at 5PM. On August 17 and 24, you can purchase sandwiches on site from Sandwich Express. August 31 and September 7 will feature Matthew's BBQ
Then, at 6:30PM, we'll use music, scripture and practice to experience God's presence through prayer - and learn how to carry that presence with us throughout the day.
We especially you to come for our first gathering, on Aug. 17, when we will welcome our special guest Heath Burchett (former youth minister here at FUMC), who will share about his work praying with and serving among the homeless population of Charlotte, NC.
