Our Cold Night Shelter Is Gearing Up

Starting in October and going through March, FUMC will again provide a Saturday night shelter for the homeless in our community. 

The Cold Night Shelter (CNS) has been a  part of our local missions program for the last 5 years providing shelter, showers, clothes, cleaning, and food for as many a a dozen person on Saturday nights when the temperature reaches 40 degrees F or below. Given Florida temperatures, we usually open 6-10 times a season. Other days of the week are covered by other churches in Crestview. 

To support this year's mission we need a few people who can stay overnight (5PM-8AM). Minimal cooking skills are required for dinner and bkfst. Also, donated dinners and bkfsts are appreciated. Please call David Hill at 377-3193 if you are interested.
