Chili Cook-Off & Hot Dog Dinner

The 8th Ave Methodist Men will be holding their annual Chili Cook-Off this Wed, Jan 15 at the Crossroads Center.

Please have your chili entry to the CRC by 5:00PM to be judged.

The 8th Ave Men's Group will provide hotdogs and chips to go with the chili entries. Please bring a desert to share if you are able.

A donation box will be set out to help cover the cost of the meal.

All proceeds will go towards our men’s group outreach projects.
Youth, Kids St. and Chancel Choir will meet at usual.
Dinner will begin being served at 5:30PM,

the Church Council will begin at 6:30PM.

We will also have our Winter Small Groups table out

for your perusal. These begin the week of Jan 20 (NEXT WEEK)

 so come sign up- we’re saving you a seat!

 

Benevolence Ministry Christmas Program

Our ANGEL TREE still has a few Angels on it. Angels are members who are shut-in's and in retirement homes and children in need within our church & Wesleyan Child Care Center.
Swing by our table on your way in to worship we will help register your chosen angel. Gifts will be collected on Sun, Dec 8 at the CRC.

FMC Christmas Party Hosted by 8th Ave. Methodist Men, Dec. 9

Our 8th Ave Methodist Men will be hosting a church Christmas Party on Mon, Dec 9 at 6:00PM in the CRC. Tickets are 15$ each & can be purchased in the office or by a men’s group member. Seating is limited, so purchase your ticket today! Donations will be collected at the front door for the Benevolence Pantry. Register for childcare here.

Collecting for Hurricane Disaster Relief

We will be collecting items needed for hurricane disaster relief through Sunday, October 20.

All donations can be dropped off at the church office during business hours (Mon.-Thurs. 9am-4pm) or on Sunday morning. You can also make a monetary donation from our church website or through the church app.

Below is a list of items needed:

Food items needed: Cases of bottled water (please no individual bottles) and all kinds of canned meats: tuna, chicken, ham, corn beef, turkey, beef, meatballs, Spam, things like Vienna sausage. Other food items needed include some type of small kids' meals that are not cold or frozen. Pop tarts, granola bars, cans of fruit cocktail are also needed. You can also donate peanut butter and jelly, sports drinks, self-stable milk like powdered milk or milk that can be put on a shelf, dry cereal, and many other things like that. All sizes of baby diapers, baby wipes, dog & Cat Food, and Paper Products are needed, as well as tarps (size 20’ x 25’)

Crestview Prayer Network on Wed, Feb 5

The Crestview Prayer Network meets the first Wednesday of each month to share fellowship and goings-on in the different churches in the North Okaloosa Area. 

The next meeting for the Crestview Prayer Network will be Feb 5 ( rescheduled due to New Year's day) at noon, at Hideaway Pizza downtown.
